Client IPT (Insurance Premium Tax) Technicians

Salary Band: £16,000 - £19,000

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Compliance Team with validating client returns and the creation of client returns and country tax packs
  • Working with tax data validation – work with clients to ensure tax data and settlements are received on time
  • Completing country tax returns - complete and submit tax returns to individual countries ensuring that all client tax returns are completed accurately, payments are made and returns are submitted within the individual country deadlines.

Required Skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a finance environment
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or a professional AAT qualification
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a continuously changing environment
  • A willingness to learn new skills as business needs dictate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to consistently organise work to strict deadlines
  • Strong business fluency in English is essential
  • European language skills would be an advantage.

 

Client IPT Specialists

Salary Band: £19,000 – £28,000

Responsibilities

  • As the FiscalReps key client contact you will engage with clients to develop trusting relationships and understand their business to fully meet their current and future needs
  • Support clients to ensure tax data and settlements are received on time, and validate tax data for the assigned portfolio of clients. You are required to have a clear understanding of the different classes of business that your clients write and apply the relevant tax rates applicable for each country
  • Together with the Client Manager and Client Director, carry out annual client reviews, in addition to monthly/quarterly reviews
  • Complete and submit tax returns to individual countries, ensuring that all client tax returns are completed accurately, payments are made and returns are submitted within the individual country deadlines
  • Assist with queries from clients.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years’ experience working in a professional finance related business
  • Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to organise work to strict deadlines
  • A willingness to learn new skills as business needs dictate
  • Strong business fluency in English is essential
  • European language skills would be an advantage
  • Experience in indirect tax is beneficial.

 

Client IPT Manager

Salary Band: £28,000 - £40,000

Responsibilities

  • Managing a client portfolio of existing and new clients to ensure that they become embedded within the IPT Outsourcing Team and their monthly procedures are fully compliant
  • Supporting the Client Director in business development and marketing activities
  • Liaising with tax authorities on a regular basis and conducting face to face visits with these authorities to build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Advising and mentoring junior team members
  • Representing FiscalReps at external events and conferences.

Required Skills

  • Five years or more experience of working in a professional office environment
  • Professional ACA qualification or Business Degree
  • Client focused with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong business fluency in English is essential
  • Strong Excel experience required
  • European language skills would be an advantage.

 

Intern

Salary Band: £15,000 pro-rata

Responsibilities

You will be required to carry out tasks and projects as and when requested by management.  Projects could include country research, comparable analysis, new systems testing and translation of European legislation.

You will gain experience in all departments of the company, including the Compliance Services Department, Captive team, Marketing, Finance and Registrations Departments, providing administrative support to Client Directors and other team members. Intern must be able to commute to and from Farnborough daily.

Desirable

  • Currently student of Tax/Insurance/Business/Accountancy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to consistently organise work to strict deadlines
  • Strong business fluency in English is essential
  • European language skills would be an advantage.
