Mike Stalley FCA VP Product Development

Mike is one of Europe’s leading authorities on Insurance Premium Tax (IPT), having established FiscalReps in 2003. Working with leading insurers, captive managers, brokers and policyholders, his primary goal is to help clients achieve and maintain premium tax compliance across their business. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in the UK, Mike worked in the insurance industry both in Bermuda and London.

Karen Jenner Client Director

Karen joined FiscalReps as an insurance consultant with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.  She is ACII qualified and has held previous roles with AIG and Willis. Karen provides invaluable global technical insurance guidance to FiscalReps through her experience of global insurance programmes and non-conventional insurance.

 

Ing. Ladislav Hanak Client Director

Ladislav joined FiscalReps in 2010 with a Masters Degree in Economics and fluently speaks six European languages. He currently manages the client relationship for a large number of insurer clients and has built relationships with the Eastern European tax authorities to ensure that clients remain compliant.

Joseph Finbow CA Client Director

Joseph joined FiscalReps in 2011 from KPMG and has eight years of experience in dealing with global insurance premium tax issues. He is responsible for the delivery of IPT compliance services to FiscalReps’ captive insurance clients. Joseph is also a member of FiscalReps’ Technical Tax Committee (TTC) and was nominated as “One to Watch” in the Captive Review Power 50 Report in 2016.

 

Susie Crew BA FCA Client Director

Susie qualified as an accountant with EY in 1994 and spent much of her career as an internal auditor within the banking and insurance industries. Susie joined FiscalReps in 2008 as Head of Finance, and in 2012 was appointed as Client Director for the European Insurance Tax Practice.

Ilka McHugh MSc FCII Client Director

Ilka joined FiscalReps in 2016 as a Client Director. She is responsible for the client deployment of TAXBOX2. Ilka has a strong background in insurance, reinsurance, and captives, having successfully delivered software solutions to clients for over 20 years. She is also multilingual, speaking fluent German, French and English.

Nazaret Gonzalez AECE Client Director

Nazaret joined FiscalReps in 2011 after completing a Master’s Degree in Economics at Alicante University.  She has since developed a successful career with the company, becoming a member of the Asociacion Profesional de Expertos Contables y Tributarios de España and is currently completing her ACA qualification.  She has received 1-1 training from Consorcio covering all areas of CLEA and Extraordinary Risks levies and leads FiscalReps’ Spanish IPT team.

 

Christophe Bourdaire Senior Client Manager

Christophe joined FiscalReps in 2011 and  manages the IPT compliance process for a portfolio of captive and French speaking clients. After five years at FiscalReps in the UK, Christophe is now permanently based  in France, giving him a closer base from which to service his European clients. He is also currently studying for his MBA from Warwick Business School.

Asher Harris US Consultant

Asher Harris conducts a boutique law practice, limited to the practice of tax law. Due to his experience with one of the world’s most prominent law firms, and with one of the most highly respected reinsurance companies, Asher gives clients access to the type of tax expertise normally only available in large law firms, together with the personal attention, responsiveness, and cost-efficiency of a small law practice. His core practice is in the representation of insurance companies, reinsurers, and those forming a captive insurance company. In addition, He represents clients on income tax matters arising out of their personal or commercial activities. Although generally retained by attorneys who do not have direct access to tax expertise within their law firm, he is also retained directly by clients who have specific tax law needs.
